Flying visit to Cambodia sets up Brothers Assembly
PHNOM PENH: 6th February 2006 -- In what was literally an
in one day out the next visit, Fr Klement called into Phnom Penh on 4th
February to see that things are set in motion for the Brothers'
Assembly/seminar later this year...August. The Seminar was set as
a priority at the Hua Hin Team Visit last year, and the continued
journey of and prayer for the 200-plus Brothers in the EAO region is
high on the list of priorities for the Regional councillor.
The 'flying visit' was made along with Fr Paul
Presert, THA coordinator for the effort. A basic preparatory
agenda including themes, venue, time-frame, objectives, participants,
logistics, roles were all discussed. One thing is for sure -
Salesian Cambodia's cultural and mission experience awaits all
participants. So mark your calendar for 20-25 August. The
official agenda and other details will be made official following the
meeting of EAO Provincials from 9-10 February in Hong Kong.
