4465(I)_Ordination of two Salesian Priest in Sumatra - Indonesia

Palembang, Indonesia -- On August 9th, In Palembang (South Sumatera) were ordained two Salesian priests - deacon Ambrosius Widiyantoro, SDB )theology study in FIN, Paranaque) and Deacon Finansius Sidabutar, SDB (theology study in MOR, Jerusalem - Ratisbonne) by His Excellency, Archbishop of Palembang, Aloysius SUDARSO, SCJ
Our two confreres were ordained together with other candidates from Arch-Diocese of Palembang.
In few days time will be ordained another 5 Salesian priests in Timor Leste.
In the SDB Constitutions we read: "The Salesian priest or deacon brings to the common work of promoting human development and of educating in the faith the specific quality of his ministry, which makes him a sign of Christ the Good Shepherd, especially by preaching the Gospel and administering the sacraments." (C article 45) We pray that Fr. Finansius and Fr. Ambrosius will become every day more identified with the heart of the Good Shepherd.
