Bosco Nyi Nyi, SDB, as the new rector of Don Bosco-Nazareth in the community chapel, for a three-year term of office, in Anisakan, Pyin Oo Lwin. Fr. Joseph Aung Kyaw was born on 12 December 1978, in Loikaw Diocese (eastern part of the country). He made his first profession on 24 May 2008 in Anisakan. After philosophical formation and practical training, he did theological studies at St. Joseph Diocesan Major Seminary-Yangon. He made his Perpetual Profession on 6 May 2015 in the same country. Finally, on 12 December 2017, he was ordained as a Salesian priest in his native diocese of Loikaw. From 2018 to 2021, he studied in the Philippines for the master degree in education. We are really proud of him and grateful to God for the gift of having a young and energetic rector in the vice province of Myanmar.
Let us continue to pray for Fr. Joseph Aung Kyaw, so that he may constantly offer himself for the service of authority in the local community, serving the confreres and the young people with the heart of the Good Shepherd and the spirit of Don Bosco.
