Osaka, Japan, 31 August 2019 -- A joint one-day retreat involving Salesian Cooperators from the Yokkaichi Centre (SDB Delegate) and Osaka Centre (FMA Delegate) was held at Josei Gakuen, a Salesian (FMA) Sisters’ high-school in the city of Osaka.
The retreat is held annually, gathering members in the Kansai area. This year, there were 17 participants, including 7 possible candidates (who are preparing to join) the Salesian Cooperators Association. The SDB Delegate, Fr. Yoshida Toshimitsu, accompanied the Salesian Cooperators during the whole day with conferences, sharing, sacrament of reconciliation, and Eucharistic celebration.
It is our wish that the vocation of Salesian Cooperator will continue to grow in number and quality in Kansai (Osaka) area. We also recognize that the Salesian Cooperators are an important model and inspiration for all Salesian lay people who are involved as mission partners in all Don Bosco works (both SDB and FMA).
