4494(II)_Celebrating the Feast of Mother Mary

Hong Kong -- Last September 10 we had the group of 90 people who are adult Migrants gather at St Louis School (Hong Kong) to celebrate the Birthday of Mother Mary and Festivity of New life by way of blessing new grain which was imported specially for this Occasion.
There was a solemn Eucharist at 11.30 am, followed by a festive - cultural meal at 1:30. The afternoon cultural program until 7 PM included drama, dance and singing songs on Mother Mary, Our Lady. people cleared the venue at 7 pm on Sunday with lasting memories.
In the multicultural and multireligious society of Hong Kong there is a large presence of migrants from all of Asia. Among them are more than 300.000 Indonesian and hundred thousands of Filipino Migrants. The South Asian migrants belong to the less privileged. Salesian started this ministry in 2013 with help from two Indian SDB province. Thanks to the help of many Hong Kong benefactors, Salesian Cooperators and volunteers among the migrant themselves this ministry is growing in quality with consistent effective fruits.
