E X, 4560
Pleased that he has accepted the Cooperator certificate sent to him, he asks him to promote the Association in the city – he encloses a membership form – the three pesetas for the Bulletin can be paid with postage stamps.
Turin, 23 September 1887
Mr Silverio Gómez de Cifuentes,
My dear Sir,
I have received your thoughtful letter dated the 13th. I see how gladly you accepted the Cooperator diploma I sent you. I hope you will deign to spread this work as widely as possible in that city.
To this end, I am sending you this sheet of paper so that you can write down the Cooperators you deem appropriate to register.
As for the price of the ‘Bulletin’, it is only three pesetas per year, which can be sent by postage stamps.
I take this opportunity to bless you and offer myself to you as
Your most affectionate friend and servant
Fr John Bosco
