My dear Fr Lemoyne,

Do everything you can for the Railway festivities. I hope there won't be an eighth round of municipal elections! Arrange things in Turin for the music, as long as the city council invites you. IF I am in Turin at that moment, I will be very happy to go.

I am sending you a letter from Msgr Ceccarelli just received. Fr Cagliero also writes a very beautiful and lengthy one.

Please give my regards to Fr Barberis and tell the novices and all the Salesians that two chiefs or tribal leaders from Patagonia have formally requested Fr Cagliero to send Salesian missionaries there, who will be warmly welcomed. Fr Cagliero is dealing with the government over this very important business.

It really seems that God wants something great from the Salesians. May God bless our entire beloved family in Lanzo, and pray for yours in J. C.

Your most affectionate friend

Fr J. Bosco

P. S. I received what Fr Barberis sent me
