Most Holy Father,

Among the distinguished benefactors of religion and civil society, Count Fiorito Colle of Toulon must undoubtedly be included.

He was already made Count of the Holy Roman Church by Your Holiness for his charitable works. He has recently built a church and a home for orphans in our agricultural colony in Navarre (Fréjus). In several instalments he donated over 100,000 lire to pay off various debts which would have forced us to suspend work on the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Rome, and he strongly supports free schools and the Catholic press in his home town.

We respectfully request that he be awarded the title of Commenditore.
