To Parish Priest Decurions

E VI, 2765

He sends the Salesian Cooperator certificate as well as assigning them the office of decurion

Turin, May 1878

Very Rev. Father,

While I am delighted to be able to count Your Excellency and various respectable individuals from the parish among the Salesian cooperators, I humbly request that you kindly assume the office of Head or Decurion of the same, in accordance with the Regulations (Chapter V).

If your occupations or other circumstances do not allow this, I would ask you to kindly indicate to me some priest or other member of these Cooperators whom you believe to be suitable for the task.

Trusting in your favour, I take this opportunity to wish you all the best and express my esteem and gratitude,

Your most obliged servant,

Fr John Bosco
