Dear SDB brothers,
you have been gathered here by love for God, which is expressed
concretely first and foremost in love for the salvation of young people. God
has called you and is lifting you up, taking you on His shoulders, and you are
becoming more than you could ever imagine. It is God's grace in you that
opens, even literally, new possibilities, new paths, new horizons.
I wish to express my closeness to you on behalf of all my Sisters and, at
the same time, gratitude for the witness of your preferential love for young
people.
We are united with you in prayer during these very important times
in which you are focused on knowing God's desire and discovering how
best to express the charism of Salesian spirituality in today's world. In a
world so confused by deviation from God's plans. We trust that thanks
also to the help of our closeness as sisters you will experience days filled
with God's presence and awareness of what is expected of you. We ask
for all of you the grace of knowledge, the grace of courage and the joy of
being children of Don Bosco.
Mary Help of Christians, who is here in Valdocco and walks in this
house, as Don Bosco said, is with you and protects you.
