Kwangju, Korea, 4 January 2015 - On the Epiphany Feastday (January 6, 2016) are making their first religious profession three FMA sisters in Seoul Provincial House after two years of novitiate in the Mae Weol Dong (Gwangju, KOR):

FMA - KOR Province

Korean FMA province has 35 communities in two countries - South Korea and Mongolia with 253 professed FMA sisters, without counting the 15 Korean missionaries ad gentes working abroad (most in Africa).

There are 7 novices, 4 postulants and probably 4 new aspirants for the incoming new school year 2016-2017.

FMA novices in the East Asia - Oceania Region

According the FMA statistics (Elenco 2015) there are 61 novices in the following EAO provinces (equal to CIAO - Conferenza Inter-ispettoriale Asia Orientale for the FMA):

• 6 in CIN, 5 in CYM (Cambodia-Myanmar),


• 4 in FIL (Philippines),


• 7 in KOR (Korea-Mongolia),


• 9 in TIN (Timor Leste-Indonesia),


• 32 in VTN (Vietnam),


• 1 in the 1 South Pacific Region (Australia-Pacific).
