for Salesian Mission Day 2011

Lord of Life and History
we pray for the young volunteers
who offer you a period of their lives
committing themselves to the Salesian mission.

We pray for the Salesians
may they foster among our young people
the desire to offer themselves in selfless service to others.
May they have the audacity

to invite young people to follow you more closely in the consecrated life.

Through the intercession of Blessed Ceferino Namuncurà,
who wanted 'to be useful to his people'
grant us the wisdom and humility
be able to help others according to your will.
