Don Bosco Kalay, Sagaing Division, Myanmar, 19 August 2020 -- A three-month training course for instrumentalists was organized by Don Bosco-Kalay Community, and was started on 3 August 2020. This was the second batch that the community voluntarily offered to the young people nearby regarding music. The main purpose of this event was to implant the spirit of joy and optimism in the hearts of the young and to prepare them in order to be capable of serving their local church and community more effectively through music. It was a well-planned course, and only 9 young men were carefully selected and financially supported by a local youth organization and the SDB Congregation (MYM).

At the opening ceremony, Fr. Henry Dau Haung (priest in charge of the community), Fr. Te New (prefect), Fr. A. Maung Maung (economer), and Bro. Francis B.T were present by sharing their precious experiences and giving their informative speeches on the importance and the role of music in our liturgy and human society. Afterwards, each of the young introduced themselves and expressed their expectations about their coming to the course before others. A T-Shirt of Don Bosco Music was provided to each trainee. They put on it with joyful faces and a proud heart. This is why, the night was so alive and contented.

As the end of the event was approaching, there was a sense of satisfaction both on the faces of the young people and the Salesians. They appreciated each other's presence, and tried their best to accompany and assist one another throughout the course in order to embrace a huge success.
