Dili - Timor Leste, 2 February 2021 -- The Salesian Family Spirituality Days 2021 (ONLINE) woke up many younger members of the Salesian Family in their creativity. Among the numerous SYM Youth who participated in this first EAO online event were also Kaitehu, Dili-Likisa Salesian Youth Movement members.

Young people try to answer to this open question: 'As we have watched the 2021 Strenna of Rector Major 'Moved by Hope' what have we done in these uncertain times?' And their answer? - "We, the Animators and Oratorians of Don Bosco together create this video to share our experiences during pandemic times. Our intention is to give hope and voice to the children and youth who have lost hope in their lives and to those voices that aren't heard!"

In the short video clip are featured first the group achievement in Covid19 solidarity with the people in need and then follows personal experience sharing of six young people from 11 to 22 years of age:

* I'm living very mixed emotions: Sadness (no Mass and no School), Happiness (Family) and Fear (Covid19)

* Let's believe, that we are not alone, because God is always here with us...

* I feel that Covid19 pandemic is like WW2, since all continents are affected. Let's feel sorrows of other people and pray that they will remain strong in their faith in God.

Yes, and Oratory Animators felt very privileged and pleased to participate in the EAO Salesian Family virtual event (Jan 15-16), because there were able to keep in touch with other members of the Salesian Family from different countries. In spite of the unstable internet connection and uneasy access to the Zoom, they felt very much encouraged by the life witness of Congo FMAs when they watch the joy in their faces."

Thanks a lot - Obrigado Barak!
