INDIA: SDB UNDA PRESIDENT ON GLOBAL MISSION

CALCUTTA: 10th June -- The recently elected president of UNDA/OCIC

INDIA, Fr. C.M. Paul, finds himself on a global mission on behalf of the

Catholic Press Association of India. C.M. Paul has been asked to head

up the SAR News evaluation committee for the Indian Catholic News

Agency, and will be proposing some radical changes to its operation in

the light of the committee's deliberations, and C.M. Paul's own

extensive experience, which includes some years in charge of ANS, Rome.

Shortly Fr. Paul travels to Katmandu to deliver a paper to the South

Asia Catholic Press Association after which he travels to Canada for the

world congress of UNDA/OCIC. Following this he visits Paris and London

to work out a deal for Adult Faith Education on behalf of Bengali

Christians.

C.M. Paul is also the editor of Catechetics India, and Director of the

Nitika-Don Bosco Catechetical and multimedia Centre in Calcutta.
