Association of Don Bosco Alumni very much alive - TKPS Hong Kong

Hong Kong, 26 June 2017 -- Our school started in 1953 and we are happy to share online about your life of our mother school as well about the Don Bosco Past Pupil Association of TKPS. We are one of the 13 Salesian Schools in Hong Kong and our Association is running with the Assistant of the school and we assist our school, too. We work together closely for the mutual benefit of all!

The main objective of our Past Pupil Association is to unite our 'Old Boys' in Don Bosco Spirit. Our executive committee members keep meeting regularly to make our activities run smoothly.

For bring the Old Boys together, we develop and held various activities:

• Very helpful is the digital meeting place. We manage and update our website and Facebook page and
• We organize School Home-coming day
• We organize Old Boy Football matches in the school playground
• We Co-organize Old Boy gatherings according specific year of graduation
• We publish newsletter of the joint school Don Bosco Alumni Association
• We hold election of School Manager (Alumni)
• We run a Foundation donated by Old Boy to support the needs of the school
• We celebrate the birthday of retired Salesian brothers, Salesian priests and teachers
• We donate scholarship to the students for their tertiary education
• We give condolence money to the deceased Old Boys, Salesians and teachers
• We organize tutorial lesson for school students after school
• We are looking after the students in school campus in order to avoid contacting bad guy on street
• We sponsor confectionery after three major school feasts
• We sponsor graduation dinner

We hope some attractive models of well animated Don Bosco Past Pupils Association may be helpful for starting or restarting this important group of the Salesian Family in other EAO countries or provinces.
