Ulanbaatar, Mongolia, 27 September 2019 -- The annual Mongolia Delegation Day 2019 was held on 26 September in Ulanbaatar, on the occasion of the 60th Birthday of Fr. Paul Leung (Delegate of Mongolia), the canonical visitation of Fr. Joseph Quang (Vietnam-Mongolia Provincial) and during the animation visit of the EAO Regional Councillor in Mongolia.

In the gym at Don Bosco Industrial Skill Training Center (Ulanbaatar, Mongolia) the morning program brought together the 176 students of the DBIST, 28 students of the UB Day Care center, 18 young people of the UB Caring Center, 20 young people from Shuwuu Holy Family Parish and more than 40 lay mission partners with the 10 SDBs in the Mongolia delegation. The youthful dynamics of the dances and songs were appreciated by all participants. At the center of the Delegation day was also the '60th Happy Birthday' celebration with many student-made gifts for the UB Rector and Delegate of Mongolia, Fr. Paul Leung.

In the afternoon the young people enjoyed their basketball games in the gym and the Salesians dedicated their coming together for fraternal sharing and contribution to the Delegation vision and mission. The Salesian Family Eucharist in Mongolian was celebrated in the SDB house chapel for the 10 SDB, 2 FMA and 4 Salesian Cooperators. The EAO Regional Councillor challenged the Salesian Family during his interactive homily with the GC28 question: What kind of Salesian Family members are needed for the Mongolian youth today, and with the witness of everyday holiness through the 2019 SF Saint Poster.

The family dinner was prepared with care by the Alumni and Salesian Cooperators.
