3819_Quinquennial Seminar for Priests and Brothers

November 28, 2015

By Bro. Jomar Castillo, SDB

Indang, Philippines - From November 23-25 priests and perpetually professed brothers in their first five years organized their quarterly formation held at the Balay Indang in Indang, Cavite, 1 hour south of Manila. This quarter's seminar focused on three themes. First was on the new Young Adults Ministry of FIN (Peaceworks103) given by Fr. Armand Robleza, SDB, followed by Catechetics in Youth Ministry by Fr. Joebeth Vivo, SDB, Youth Ministry Delegate of FIN and Fr. Edwin Ulanday, SDB, Provincial Economer, on the Sacrament and Ministry of Confession in our schools.

The three days spent together was an opportunity to bond and catch up with one another. I was also an opportunity to unwind and relax from the busy and fast-paced life in the apostolate. The confreres returned home energized and ready to face the new challenges in their various ministries (school, parish and formation centers).
