4515_A zealous Salesian passed quietly to the Father in Tokyo

Fr. Antonio Shirieda RIP (1937-2017)

Tokyo, Japan, 6 October -- Salesian Priest Antonio Takei SHIRIEDA, passed away at Hospital in Tokyo (Meguro Ward) at 1:55 AM on October 6, 2017 due to pneumonia . He was 80 years old, 60 years of Salesian religious life and 51 years as Salesian priest, he was happy to celebrate his Priestly Golden Jubillee with Fr, Kurahashi, SDB (Salesian missionary in Bolivia). Good Lord called him to heaven exactly on the same day as the Venerable Mons. Vincent Cimatti (October 6, 1965).

The Funeral Mass will be on 10th October at the Catholic Himonya Church (Tokyo)

As a Salesia Family members we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Father Antonio, for his lifetime dedicated to mission as a Shepherd with people especially with the young. Please, pray for his eternal rest.
